Working faithfully with partners to address deprivation, isolation and division within our communities

Our team working across the Diocese of Leeds helps to support and coordinate projects across geographic, religious and civic boundaries. Below are some of the key areas we currently are undertaking.

We co-ordinate efforts, channel funding, and share information to support groups that work to increase food security, including coordinating Feeding Bradford & Keighley.

Near Neighbours brings people together in communities that are religiously and ethnically diverse, so that they can get to know each other better, build relationships of trust, and collaborate together on initiatives that improve the local community they live in.

We address social isolation in urban and rural areas, helping to build connections and sense of belonging. We support a growing number of Places of Welcome across the Diocese.

Working with delivery partners Inn Churches and Hope Housing, we are helping to coordinate efforts to find sustainable housing and accommodation for people who are on the streets or at risk of homelessness. Find out more about our five year programme, Positive Pathways.
