Near Neighbours 10th Anniversary
We were so pleased to be able to hold this event in person. Great to see so many people there from all sorts of walks of life.
Last week, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Near Neighbours. It was a lovely event, and we were pleased to be able to hold it in person. It was wonderful to see so many people there from all sorts of walks of life - organisations that benefited from NN grants, organisations we worked together with on one or more projects, organisations representing all faiths and none.
Hearing about the impact NN has had on these organisations was humbling, and we're pleased to have been able to support their work.
There were lovely interludes with poetry and some talented young people performing songs they had written themselves. And finally, celebration lunch - as it had been said that "meeting without eating is cheating"!
It was wonderful to see everybody there, and we're proud to be part of this.
